Four entries from India have been selected to feature In-Book at the D&AD Awards 2010.
These are one entry each from Ogilvy & Mather, Karigari Design Inc, Kritik and Bates141. In-Book work is considered the best work of the year and equivalent to a bronze award.
The following work will be featured In-Book:
O&M's entry 'Stamps' for Department of Posts in the Calendars category (Graphic Design jury)
Karigari Design's 'Soap cards' for The Backpacker Company in the Stationery category (Graphic Design jury)
Kritik's 'Double Side' entry for Sameer Gupta in Stationery category (Graphic Design jury)
Bates141's 'Man on the Moon' for Staedtler (Staedtler Long Lasting Pens) in Press Advertising category (Illustration jury)
This year, the juries selected 560 entries to go into the Annual. Of these, 135 entries have been nominated for a D&AD Pencil. Nominated work is considered worthy of a Yellow Pencil and equivalent to a silver award.
The TV and Cinema Crafts Jury topped the charts by voting for 30 nominations. Graphic Design led the way by voting 68 entries into The Annual, of which 4 have been nominated for a Pencil.
Volkswagen work will feature in the Annual no less than 11 times, making it the most creative client at D&AD this year.
The winners will be announced online and at the D&AD Awards ceremony and dinner on 3 June. Student Awards nominations will be announced the week commencing 11 May.
