Former BARC CEO Partho Dasgupta admitted to ICU while in judicial custody for #TRPScam
Partho Dasgupta, former CEO, BARC India, has been admitted to the JJ Hospital in Mumbai, while in judicial custody for the ongoing #TRPScam.

According to a tweet by Dasgupta's daughter, he was taken to JJ Hospital (Mumbai) at 1 pm on 15 January in an unconscious state.

He was moved to the ICU at 5:00 am on 16 January because his blood sugar level had shot up.

Earlier on 15 January, a leaked WhatsApp chat of more than 500 pages between him and Republic TV's Arnab Goswami had gone viral on social media, in connection with the #TRPScam. It is claimed that senior BARC India officials manipulated ratings to make Republic TV as the most viewed English news channel.
