GEC Ratings: Zee TV grabs second place

According to TAM, with a rise of 22 GRPs in Week '16, 2012, Zee TV has overtaken Sony TV to take second spot. The channel ended the week with 214 GRPs. Sony's four GRP rise wasn't enough to retain the spot, and it ended third with 209 GRPs.

Star Plus continued to lead the list of channels, with 248 GRPs, even though it faced a fall of 14 GRPs.

Colors gained by four points to end the week fourth with 194 GRPs.

Sab TV's seven GRP dip didn't make a difference to the channel's position as it held fifth place with 115 GRPs, followed by Life OK in sixth place. Life OK gained one GRP to end at 86 GRPs.

Sahara One's ratings dipped by one place to end at 45 GRPs. Imagine TV, who recently shut down operations saw a dip in 16 points to end the week at 41 GRPs.

Star Utsav (38), DD National (12) and Z Smile (8) completed the list of channels for the week
