In her new role, Lodewick will drive local marketing opportunity, analysis and strategy to help grow the Getty Images business across the region, the company said in a press statement.

Sydney-based Lodewick will be responsible for Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, as well as Hong Kong, India, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

Prior to Getty, Lodewick worked as marketing director for Adshel. She has also worked with Clear Channel, Nielsen and Reed Elsevier.

The company has also appointed Svetlana Zhukova as marketing manager for Australia and New Zealand.

"As the demand for engaging visual content grows in emerging markets, [Lodewick's] regional experience in media will be a tremendous asset in building our presence across Asia-Pacific," said Glenn Parker, vice-president of sales, APAC, at Getty Images.
