Joji George joins Percept Sports and Entertainment as CEO

Percept Sports and Entertainment has brought in Joji George as chief executive officer. 

In his new role as chief executive officer, Percept Sports and Entertainment, he will be be in charge for providing strategic direction, creating opportunities for integration, and paving the roadmap for the overall businesses for the Percept Sports & Entertainment vertical. 

The vertical comprises of experiential and entertainment marketing, sports management and marketing, wedding management, event management and marketing, wedding management, event management and marketing, brand activations and promotions, celebrity endorsements and talent management, branded content, brand activation and promotions, entertainment branding and marketing, branded entertainment, merchandising and entertainment intellectual properies. 

On his appointment, George, said, “Having worked with leading brands across Asia over the last decade, I am excited about working with India’s leading entertainment conglomerate that transforms brands by offering 'complete brand solutions' for clients, looking to take a leadership position in a competitive marketplace both within India and globally. I want to make Percept Sports and Entertainment, the preferred partner for businesses that are looking for creative and memorable brand experiences for its stakeholders and consumers and meet their needs”
 
On George's appointment, Shailendra Singh, joint managing director, Percept Limited, said, “Percept is India’s only conglomerate that provides 360-degree services in the Entertainment, Media and Communications (EMC) Industry. Joji, brings a wealth of ideas, knowledge and experiences from leading brands across the region and together we shall take Percept Sports & Entertainment to another level."
 
Prior to joining Percept, he was executive vice president at The Global Brand Forum, Singapore. He has also previously worked with organisations like ASTRO (Astro All Asia Networks Plc) – Malaysia, Yahoo! Asia – Singapore, MTV ASIA LDC – Singapore and  Sony Music Entertainment India among others.
