JWT gives a large platform for me to help get out of my comfort zone: Bobby Pawar

Bobby Pawar has put in his papers at Mudra Group and is set to join JWT India as chief creative officer and managing partner. Though Pawar will be joining only after a couple of months, the development was confirmed by him as well as Colvyn Harris, chief executive officer, JWT India.

On his move to JWT India from Mudra Group where he is currently serving as chief creative officer, Pawar, said, “It was not about being unhappy at Mudra since we were the most awarded agency in the DDB Network over the past couple of years. However, at JWT India, the creative challenges at hand are quite high and the agency gives a large platform for me to help get out of my comfort zone. I love scaling mountains like these, and this is an opportunity for me to polish JWT’s creative luster.”

Speaking on the development, Harris, added, “At JWT, we work with some of the most admired brands in the world and this is the most important post we have in the company. And, Bobby’s appointment is to help us deliver on our creative vision. Bobby has worked with a lot of agencies and, with him joining us, we are sure our benchmarks are going to go up.”

At Mudra, Pawar's mandate has been overseeing the group's creative product across all the four agencies - Mudra India, DDB Mudra, Mudra Max and Ignite Mudra. Prior to Mudra, Pawar was with BBDO Chicago.
