My weekend plan: Nikita Tambay

So, it’s that time of the week again. Unlike my usual weekends, this one seems to begin on a high energy note! To start with, I plan to attend a Salsa FREE trail session near my office on Friday evening. If all goes well and if everyone has survived my attempt to 'dance', I’m going to enroll myself in the dance class. I'm already beaming with this thought!

To start with, I plan to attend a Salsa FREE trail session near my office on Friday evening. Come Saturday and I head to meet my dear family in Pune. Nothing like being welcomed by a super excited dog ready to jump out the waiting car to greet me! This will be followed by a ritualistic chicken curry for lunch, rajma chawal for dinner and lots of goodies in between these meals. That takes care of my folks’ display of affection towards me. And which will take me straight to my cozy bedroom, away from all the stinker client calls, job-lists and briefs. I intend to sleep through my Saturday on this happy note. Thanks Mom, in advance! I love you.

Sunday, thankfully, will charge me up again, as I will meet my gang of gals and catch up on a friend who got recently married. Undoubtedly this calls for a temporary loss of sanity = loads of fun! Once I’m through with all the bitching, gossiping and laughing, it’s back to family time.

There’s a Marathi feature film Natarang, which has been gaining a lot of critical acclaim since its release. I’m definitely going to catch that with my folks. Hopefully I will comprehend the movie myself and not harrow my parents to translate the heavy-duty Marathi dialogues.

And here ends my weekend. While I come back to briefs, artworks and PPMs again on Monday, there’s one thought that’ll stay with me throughout the coming week: "This too shall pass!"
