Ogilvy dominates the IndIAA Awards

BBDO India, Leo Burnett, McCann and The Womb (two each) were among the big winners at the IndIAA Awards. The winners were announced at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai.

Ogilvy dominates the IndIAA Awards
The winners of the IndIAA awards 2019 has been announced.
 
Ogilvy led the pack with seven metals to finish the evening on a high note. Leo Burnett (three metals), BBDO India and The Womb (two each) were among the big winners at the IndIAA Awards. The winners were announced at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai.
 
Hosted by the International Advertising Association - India Chapter the IndIAA Awards keeps the bar high by awarding only real work that is backed by real budgets.
 
The awards recognise excellence in advertising based on an evaluation process by leading CEOs across industries. Campaign India was the knowledge partner for the event.
 
There were more than 450 nominations across 18 categories.
 
The jury had renowned business leaders including, Suresh Narayanan, chairman and MD, Nestle India, Eric Braganza, president, Haier Appliances India, Abhishek Lodha, MD, Lodha Group, Neil George, MD, Nivea India, Marzin Shroff, MD and CEO, Eureka Forbes and Sangeeta Pendurkar, CEO, Pantaloons, Aditya Birla Group.
 
In his welcome address, the jury chairman, had words of encouragement for the youth. He said, “You can be decent, honest, truthful and yet succeed.”
 
Drawing leadership lessons from poets like Kabir and Rahim, he said, “Gain the knowledge - Jati na pucho sadhu ki, puch lijiye gyan; Mol karo talwar ka, pada rahan do myan." 
 
He added, "Communication should be sweet to the heart, sweet to the soul - Aisi vani boliye, mann ka aapa khoye; Auran ko sheetal karein, Aaphu sheetal hoy." 
 
One of the other key messages he delivered was: "The right attitude matters - Bigari baat bane nahi, laakh karo kin koye; Rahiman bigarey doodh ko, mathe na maakhan hoye.”
 
In the category Auto Four Wheelers, Land Rover and its agency Spark 44 bagged the award for "Land Rover-The Land of Land Rovers".
 
 
In the category Auto Two Wheelers there were joint winners. The award went to Leo Burnett and Dentsu One for "Bajaj Auto-The World's Favourite Indian" and "Honda Activa-Honda Activa 125 - Solid Trust. Solid Power. Solid Body" respectively.

In the category, Auto Others, Ogilvy bagged the award for "ZAP Subscribe-ZAP Subscribe Presents "It's Love Nonetheless..."

In Consumer Durables, there were joint winners: Ogilvy bagged the awards for both Birla Aerocon-Birla Aerocon Pipes & Fittings - Naam and "Voltas-Adjustable AC".
 
 

In the category of Consumer Electronics, "Nokia-Google Lens" by McCann Worldgroup and "Saregama Carvaan-Shaadi ka naya gift" by The Womb were the joint winners. 
 
In the category of Online Commerce, Lowe Lintas for the campaign "PhonePe-No Wallet Top-Up Instant Bank To Bank Transfer / Safe & Secure" was the winner. 
 

 
In the category, Telecom and Technology, "Vodafone-Making India Data Strong in crowded places" by Ogilvy and "Idea-Idea 4G - India ka LIVE network" by BBDO India were crowned as joint winners.
 

In the Corporate category, Hindustan Unilever-Start A Little Good - Water, by Ogilvy was adjudged as the winner.
 

 
In Banking and Finance, Tata Capital-#WedEqual with Tata Capital Wedding Loan by Indigo Consulting was the winner.

 
In the category, Pharma, Hygiene and Wellness there were joint winners. "Combiflam-Strong pain ko do strong jawaab" by Ogilvy and "Dabur Chyawanprash-Double Immunity with Dabur Chyawanprash for Kids in Winters" by McCann Worldgroup were among the winners. 
 

 
In the category Home Decor, Ottomate Homes-Get Your Best Sleep, Ever! by The Womb was the winner
 

 
In the category, Fashion, Accessories and Retail the Sushant Singh & Kriti Sanon campaign #SurprisinglyBata by Contract India bagged the honours.
 

 
In the category of Home Care Ariel-Sons #ShareTheLoad by BBDO India picked up the metal.
 

 
In the category of Personal Care, Wild Stone Deo Talc-Wild Stone Deo Talc - Smell Like a Mister! by Ogilvy was the winner.
 
 
In the Government category, "ActionAid India-Join The Dots" by Wat Consult was adjudged as the winner.
 

 
In the Entertainment and Media category there were joint winners. "Spotify-There's a playlist for that - Game of Love" by Leo Burnett and "Dailyhunt-#HarBhashaEqual only on Dailyhunt" by WYP bagged the awards.
 
 
 
 
There was a Special Jury Mention for Campaigns with Social Purpose -  Vicks – One In A Million #TouchOfCare by Publicis Singapore and Preganews #GoodNewsIsGenderFree by ADK Fortune were the winners.
 
 
 
 
In the Food and Beverages category and Insurance there were no winners.
