Olympic opening ceremony flops in C&S HH

Perhaps it's not surprising, considering the lack of medal hopes for India. Doordarshan National delivered an average of 0.4 TRPs and 30 min GRPs of 3.5, with a net reach of 55,73,900  for Friday's opening ceremony according to data from aMap.Doordarshan sports performed even worse (TRP 0.1, GRPs 0.7) attracting only 10,29,100 viewers. As this story is being filed, India has won the first individual Gold ever, with shooter Abhinav Bindra doing the nation proud. Will viewership shoot up as the Games progress?
