oneshow.tv : Vote for the best commercial

For the second year in a row The One Club is giving the public the opportunity to vote for their favorite television ads of the year at its online showcase One Show.TV
“Where else can you take a look at some of the best ads in the world before anyone else?” notes The One Club President Kevin Swanepoel (pictured here). “Consumers have the chance to have their opinions heard on what they feel is the best of the best. Our prestigious jury of international judges sifted through thousands of TV commercial entries to pare down the contestants to the semifinalists they can choose from at OneShow.TV.”
Using video streaming, One Show.TV users will be able to preview all the Top 100 consumer commercials nominated for the 2008 One Show and pick the “People’s Choice.” Winners will be announced at the One Show. .
One Show.TV is a direct response to the popularity of audience participation and reflects the international scope of the One Show. One Show.TV features ads from all over the world, (though none from India feature in the top 100) including the many outstanding commercials that Indians may otherwise not have the opportunity to see.
One Show.TV is part of One Show Festival Week, an annual event honoring the best in advertising from around the world.  Highlights of the week include the 33nd Annual One Show awards on May 7 in New York City; One Show Design on May 6th; and One Show Interactive on May 9.
The 33rd Annual One Show has attracted 23,825 entries from more than 60 countries around the world. Judged by an international panel of the leading authorities on excellence in advertising, winning a One Show Pencil is considered the ultimate achievement within the advertising industry.
