Publicis Commerce launches in India

Kartik Iyer, Krishna Mothey join Publicis to head the practice

In March 2018, Publicis Media brought together its commerce expertise from across the group with the launch of Publicis Commerce
 
Now, the group has announced its entry to India. It has also announced the appointment of Kartik Iyer as lead for Publicis Commerce and Krishna Mothey has head of media. 
 
The commerce practice has capabilities across commerce strategy and planning, consumer and category insights, content and e-merchandising, technology, CRM, analytics and data science, trade and shopper marketing and eCommerce Media. 
 
In addition to India, both Iyer and Mothey will also oversee the Commerce capability within Publicis Media’s Global Distributed Delivery (GDD) offering – a centre based in India that delivers for clients around the globe.
 
Iyer was most recently head of digital commerce at Ingram Micro. Mothey moves from GroupM where he set up the e-commerce media function.
