Punjab & Sind Bank goes to pitch

Punjab & Sind Bank, a public sector bank, has invited expressions of interest from advertising agencies to handle its creative duties and media communications. The pitch is currently underway in New Delhi.

Campaign India understands that the mandate includes print media, electronic media, outdoor media and social media communications, as well as advertising requirements for the bank.

Apart from having five years of experience in undertaking advertising work in the banking sector, the eligibility criteria for the applicant agency includes proficiency in major Indian languages including Punjabi and Gurmukhi.

The pitch has been initiated to empanel agencies for a period of two years and the agenda is to work on brand-building strategies aimed at positioning the bank and its various products and services appropriately in the chosen market segments, as well as enhancing its overall brand equity.

The bank is also focusing on product promotion strategy and executing promotional campaigns in print, television, radio and cinema (including multiplexes) with the chosen agency, which is expected to deliver its services pan-India.

Punjab & Sind Bank has a network of over 1,550 branches and offices spread across the country.
