Asianet News Media and Entertainment has announced the appointment of Rajesh Kalra as executive chairman.
 
Kalra moves from Times Internet where he was chief editor. 
 
He will be in charge of AMEL brands in its portfolio including asianetnews.com and indigomusic.com.
 
Abhinav Khare, chief executive officer, Asianet News Media and Entertainment,  said, “I am very happy that Mr Kalra is joining this team. He will add significant leadership capability to our company and the entire team, and I am excited to be working with him and growing our company even faster."
