Spikes Asia 2017: 69 shortlists for India on day one
Organisers of Spikes Asia 2017 have announced the first list of shortlists. Indian agencies have tallied 69 shortlists across the 11 categories announced today.
 
Design 
 
In the Design category India has ten shortlists.
 
Taproot Dentsu has four of them. Two come for Adidas 'Odds' and the other two are for 'Watching Posters' for Panasonic Security System.
 
McCann India has three shortlists. Two of these are for World For All while the other is for 'The Immunity Charm' for The Ministry Public Health Afghanistan. 
 
Ogilvy & Mather's 'Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks' for Savlon have two shortlists.
 
HP Lubricant's 'Roads That Honk' is also in the running for a metal.
 
Direct 
 
FleishmannHillard India, McCann and Taproot Dentsu have two shortlists each in this category.
 
Fleishmann's shortlists come for 'School For Justice' for The Free a Girl Movement India. 
 
McCann's work is for The Ministry of Public Health Afghanistan.
 
Taproot's shortlists are for Adidas.
 
Entertainment
 
No show for India.
 
Healthcare
 
Indian agencies contributed to 12 of the 47 shortlists in this category.
 
McCann's 'The Immunity Charm' for Ministry of Public Health Afghanistan has four shortlists. 
 
Taproot Dentsu has three entries in the running. All of them are for Adidas.
 
Medulla Communications has two shortlists, both for 'Last Laugh' for the Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC).
 
Dentsu Webchutney's 'The Dyslexic Captcha' for Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre is in the running.
 
Havas' 'Kill the real demons' for Mortein is also in the running.
 
Ogilvy & Mather's 'Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks' for Savlon are in the running in this category too.
 
Media 
 
McCann has four shortlists in this category. Two come for 'Sweet change' for Paytm Wallet. There's one each for 'The Immunity Charm' for Ministry of Public Health Afghanistan and 'Germbusters' for Dettol.
 
Mediacom's '#LikeAGirl India' for Whisper is in the running. 
 
Isobar's 'Your first car on the map' for Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 has also been shortlisted.
 
Mindshare's 'Nayi Soch' for Star India, Dentsu Webchutney's 'The Dyslexic Captcha' for Jaslok Hospital and Research Centre and BBDO's '#Kindnessiscashless' for Visa India are also in the running.
 
Outdoor
 
McCann has three shortlists in this category. Two come for the entry titled 'Dog' for World for All. The other is for 'Sweet change' for Paytm Wallet. 
 
Ogilvy's 'Healthy hands chalk sticks' for Savlon and Taproot Dentsu's 'Watching posters' for Panasonic Security System are also in the running.
 
PR 
 
BBDO India has two shortlists for 'Release the Pressure' for Pepsico India. Edelman has a shortlist for the same entry too.
 
HP Lubricant's 'Roads that Honk' have two shortlists here. 
 
Tata Capital has one shortlist for 'Salaam Loans'.
 
Print & Outdoor Craft 
 
McCann has six shortlists in this category. Its entries titled 'Dog', 'Cat' and 'Rabbit' for Animal Care & Pet Adoption Centre has six of them. 
 
BBDO India's '#KindnessIsCashless' for Visa is also in the running.
 
Taproot Dentsu's 'Tale of Two' for Adidas has also been shortlisted.
 
Print & Publishing 
 
All three of India's shortlists in this category come for McCann's 'Dog' 'Cat' and 'Rabbit' for Animal Care & Pet Adoption Centre.
 
Promo & Activation 
 
There are seven Indian shortlists in this category.
 
Taproot Dentsu has three for Adidas.
 
McCann's 'The Immunity Charm' for Ministry of Public Health Afghanistan has two shortlists in this category. 
 
As does FleishmannHillard for 'School For Justice' for Free A Girl Movement India. 
 
Radio 
 
All three of the shortlists in this category too come for McCann.
 
Two of these are for 'Dead Hour' for Nescafe. The other is for 'The Scientist' for Dermaclinix.
