STC Associates, the New York headquartered global brand management firm, has appointed Swati Katakam (pictured) as regional director, STC Associates India. Katakam joins STC Associates “to drive expansion of the agency’s presence throughout the Indian market,” says a company statement.
Katakam was earlier vice president of Grey PR Cell. Talking about her appointment, Katakam told Campaign India, “My decision to move to STC Associates came with the clear realization that clients must leverage every facet of their brands to strategically create and integrate brand experiences that drive business. I look forward to spearheading the growth of STC India to expand the integrated services proposition for marquee clients across this region.”
“Katakam’s expertise and drive make her an invaluable asset to our global team,” comments Sophie Ann Terrisse, CEO, STC Associates, adding, “Her appointment affirms our ongoing commitment to invest in this region and in senior resources who will add superior value to our clients businesses.”
Katakam will be reporting directly to Terrisse. The agency provides a fully integrated brand service offering across all elements of creative, communications, and interactive for domestic clients, such as Tata Communications and Aurora Integrated Systems.
Katakam has also previously worked with the Times of India’s ‘Newspaper in Education’ and education portal, e-gurucool.com.
