TBWA launches second stage of Micra campaign

TBWA India has conceptualised the second stage of communication for the Nissan Micra. Part of the campaign that was created for the launch of the Micra, these two TVCs continue to talk about the features of the car that's positioned in the B+ Segment category.

Both the TVCs feature brand ambassador Ranbir Kapoor. One talks about the superior turning radius of the Micra which makes it an effortless car to drive and park in the city. Along with this it also talks about the fuel consumption of the car, which makes it comfortable on the pocket too.

The second TVC shows a man fumbling inside his pockets to look for his key. Ranbir Kapoor, who's an onlooker sees this, tells him about the keyless entry feature of the Micra which wouldn't require the key to open the car. He then shows the man the push start button available in the Micra, which also doesn't require a key to start. The ad goes on to show the interiors which are shown to be spacious enough to seat three people comfortably on the back seat.

The TVC ends with the tagline, "Micra - drive simpler, live better".

Commenting on the two new TVCs, Nirmalya Sen, managing director, TBWA\India, said, "The brief was evolved from the strategy which came from the car. The car itself is designed to make city driving simple with features which look to make city driving simpler. The first two tvcs created were a pre- cursor for these TVCs where we introduced the car which spoke about the new innovative features of the car. Now that the car has been launched we've brought up other features like the turning radius and spacious interiors."

The campaign for the Micra is not limited to television and other media like print and online will also be used.
