Weekend Fun (2): Microsoft, Sony release global campaigns for next gen consoles

Competitors in the gaming console market, Microsoft and Sony, have released global campaigns for their soon-to-be released Xbox One and PlayStation 4 respectively.

Microsoft has roped in England and Liverpool Football Club captain, Steven Gerrard, to star in the campaign alongside Star Trek actor Zachary Quinto.

Sony has taken the emotional route with its 'For the players since 1995' campaign. The campaign has been created by Drum.

Both consoles are scheduled to go on sale in late November 2013. Game on.
