ASCI uphold's complaints against 182 ads
 
In November 2017, ASCI’s Consumer Complaints Council (CCC) upheld complaints against 182 advertisements. A total of 243 cases were brought to ASCI’s notice and action was taken against 152 advertisements, and the rest being complaints through direct sources. Out of the 182 ads against which complaints were upheld, 96 belonged to education, 65 to healthcare, seven to food and beverages, three to personal care and 11 came from the ‘other’ category.
 
Lux appoints Amitabh Bachchan as brand ambassador 
 
Lux has roped in Amitabh Bachchan as brand ambassador for its brand, Lux Venus. A film conceptualised by Soho Square featuring the actor has gone on air. 

Alchemist to handle M3M India’s marketing
 
Alchemist Marketing Solutions has bagged the marketing duties for Gurugram based real estate player, M3M. The agency has already started work on the account. 
 
Creativeland Asia's 'The Legend of Jagannath' on Netflix
 
Creativeland Pictures' documentary, The Legend of Jagannath, which was produced for National Geographic, is now available on Netflix. The documentary was directed by Sajiv Kurup, executive director, Creativeland Asia Group. The Legend of Jagannath is a documentary which presents a story of the Ratha Yatra which takes place annually in Puri, Odisha.
 
RummyPassion ropes in Amy Jackson 
 
RummyPassion.com has announced the appointment of model and actress, Amy Jackson as brand ambassador. This is the online portal's first brand ambassador. The announcement was made soon after RummyPassion entered a deal with Stride Gaming (London). 
 
DSport to broadcast MLS
 
DSport has announced that it has bagged the broadcasting rights for the 2018 season of the Major League Soccer. The tournament kicks off on 21 February.
 
WION spreads to Middle East and Africa
 
World Is One News (WION), a global English news network from India, has launched in the Middle East (UAE and Qatar) and Africa (Botswana and Rwanda, Ghana, Kenya,  Nigeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe). A statement from the channel revealed that it plans to launch across Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka by April this year.
