Reliance's new TVC pushes digital experience
Reliance's DTH service, BIG TV, has recently rolled out its new TV campaign. Conceptualised by Leo Burnett, the communication aims to showcase the bigness of BIG TV's 200+ channel experience. Commenting about the task at hand, Ujjwal Kabra, copywriter, Leo Burnett said, "We needed to advertise the fact that today, Reliance BIG TV offers over 200 channels, giving its customers the maximum choice of top class entertainment, more channels, more features and more variety than they can ever ask for." Sun Direct launches in Mumbai
There is a lot more action expected in the DTH market in India with southern player Sun Direct announcing its Mumbai launch. Sun Direct is an 80:20 JV between the Maran family and the Astro Group of Malaysia. The DTH service will soon also be launched in Hindi speaking markets.
Bharti assembles star-studded cast for DTH service launch
Bharti Airtel has rolled out a 65-second block-buster TVC to announce the launch of its DTH offering, Airtel Digital TV.The JWT-created campaign, that broke last week with a teaser ad vetting the appetite of the viewers to know more, is part of Airtel's strategy to create the future of communication and entertainment through a convergence of three screens: mobile, computer and TV. Madison Media is handling Airtel's media planning and buying.
Reliance ADAG unveils 'BIG' campaign
Reliance ADAG has rolled out an integrated campaign to support the launch of its DTH Satellite TV service, BIG TV. Developed by Mudra and built around the creative concept, 'Life isn't for living small', the teaser TVC features eight brand seeders including Smriti Irani and Saakshi Talwar , protagonists from leading soaps on TV. The spot opens with the spokespeople letting the people know that entertainment is going to change forever -- "Kuch bahut BIG hone wala hai".
Reliance Communications kicks off BIG TV
Reliance Communications has launched its DTH (direct-to-home) services, Reliance BIG TV. It will offer over 200 channels and will be available in over one lakh outlets across 6500 towns.BIG TV DTH service has set up a call centre which is capable of handling over 50,000 calls daily, in 11 Indian languages including English, across two locations. The team is capable of installing over 15,000 daily connections, according to an official press release.
