Akshay Kumar has been brought in as the third Bollywood celebrity, after Salman Khan (Hawaii) and Katrina Kaif (Flite) to endorse Relaxo products. The actor will endorse Sparx, the brand's sports footwear range.

The TVC has been created and produced by 30 Seconds of Fame.

The film revolves around a girl whose cell phone gets stolen by a rogue riding a bicycle. Kumar along with his friends, who are playing football across the street, decide to help her out by chasing the thief. While chasing the thief, the group exhibit their footballing skills and Kumar manages to catch the rogue with a volley that knocks him out.  During the chase, various shots of the Sparx shoes are shown. The film ends with the mobile being returned to the girl, who shows her appreciation by giving Kumar a kiss on the cheek.

Commenting on the TVC, Gaurav Dua, executive director, Relaxo Footwears, said, “Sparx, in a short span of time, has become an iconic brand amongst the youth. The stylish and sporty range of Sparx shoes and sandals is for people who like to live their life on-the-edge; people who do things differently, things that set them apart from the rest. The new brand ambassador for Sparx had to be someone who possessed all these qualities. And who would be better than Akshay Kumar, a man who exudes energy, has an athletic body, is making a comeback as an action hero, depicts attitude and style and last but not the least, adds Sparx to his life in everything he does; In short, Akshay Kumar is the Sparx man himself. We are extremely pleased to have him endorse Sparx and we are sure this new association will fortify the connect with people.“
