Sleepyhead makes Ranveer Singh insecure about becoming furniture himself

Watch the film conceptualised by Leo Burnett here

D2C brand Sleepyhead, has rolled out a campaign to highlight the launch of its furniture portfolio featuring brand ambassador Ranveer Singh. Conceptualised by Leo Burnett, the film is the second leg of the brand’s ‘Fabulous Living’ campaign and promotes its signature sofa and recliner.

The film sees Ranveer at home, waiting for his friends to visit. While he talks about his new Sleepyhead sofa and its tested durability, he tells the audience about how he wants to hide it before his friends come over. He says that the sofa steals the spotlight away from him at his own party. However, his friends show up before he has a chance to hide it and as Singh expected, he gets completely overlooked. Towards the end, he is seen sleeping on the recliner in solitude.

Mathew Joseph, CEO and co-founder, Sleepyhead, said, “There is a huge need gap in the market for home and lifestyle products for new age home makers. They seek contemporary furniture that suits their design sensibilities without compromising on quality at accessible prices. At Sleepyhead we are committed to fulfilling this need gap by making furniture that makes everyday living fun and fabulous. Ranveer Singh as our brand ambassador is the perfect choice as he personifies the brand’s quirk, commitment to quality and design. Our ‘Fabulous Living’ campaign fuels our growth plan to be a 300Cr brand by FY 22-23 with 20% revenue contribution from furniture.”
