Weekend Watch: The Indian Mannequin Challengers

Videos from BYN, Rupan Bal, Pantaloons, Team Pumpkin, BCCI, Telangana Vines, Lusu Pasanga

The 'Mannequin Challenge' did make its way into Indian social media too. Among some of the fun videos we came across was this one (above) from BYN.

"I have no idea what I just watched but it was hillarious," says one comment at the end of this video from Rupan Bal. That's the spirit.

Pantaloons took up the challenge and even ran a contest around it. Guess the number of human mannequins in this video shot at one of its stores, said the fashion brand, to win gift vouchers. VML, the brand's digital agency, created the campaign.

Can digital shops get left behind? Team Pumpkin was upto the challenge.

Or, if you prefer masala storytelling of the filmi kind... from Telangana Vines:

The commentary box during the ongoing Ind vs Eng cricket Test series didn't escape the Mannequin fever either.

Nor did the 'Big Fat Indian Wedding'! (and more, from YouTube channel LusuPasanga...)
