Urban Ladder, the online furniture company, has roped in Manu Prasad as director - brand marketing with effect  from 3 November 2014. He will report to Rajiv Srivatsa, COO and co-founder of Urban Ladder. Prasad will be in charge of the brand's marketing across the offline and social media channels.

Rajiv Srivatsa, COO and co-founder, Urban Ladder, said, “Manu comes with a lot of valuable experience across marketing platforms and we are happy to have him on-board at Urban Ladder. Over the last two years, we have largely built the brand on social media with word of mouth about our product designs and exceptional customer service. We are confident that Manu will help us take the brand to greater heights and will help us achieve our long term vision of making Urban Ladder the most preferred furniture brand in India.”

According to an official statement, the company plans to 'triple its 120 people headcount in the next one year'.

Prior to this, Prasad was at GroupM as director - social strategy.
