PRCAI appoints Mantri president

Takes over from Sharif D Rangnekar

PRCAI appoints Mantri president
The Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) has appointed Nitin Mantri, CEO and managing partner, Avian Media, as president. Mantri's term will run till May 2016 when the term of the present managing committee ends. 
 
Mantri was vice president of the committee in the previous term, when Sharif D Rangnekar, CEO and director, Integral PR, was president. 
 
Mantri said, “Sharif (Rangnekar) in last three years has done some great work for the industry and I hope to continue the momentum. PRCAI is a fantastic organisation. I have enjoyed a long and fruitful association with it. In my role as president, I will continue to underline the importance of high professional standards, support communications professionals across the country and try to improve the public perception of public relations.”
 
Rangnekar added, “I cannot think of a better person to lead PRCAI than Nitin. The PR industry in India is extremely dynamic and complex. It is evolving rapidly and is filled with opportunities. Nitin understands the changing dynamics of communications and the role of PRCAI in this regard.”
