Lenovo has rolled out an ad film for the 'next generation' of its Yoga range of laptops. The film has been conceptualised by Ogilvy & Mather and is to go on air from 18 June.

The TVC introducing the next generation of Yoga laptops shows a young man absorbed in the laptop in the middle of a chaotic party. As chaos reigns around him, he is unperturbed. He is seen making his way through the party, oblivious to the fact that people are fighting and throwing things around him. Using the flexibility of the laptop to his advantage, he makes his way through many obstacles,  gets a drink and makes his way back to his seat, once again using his laptops flexibility to continue enjoying his entertainment. The film ends with the voice over saying, 'Carry your cool.'

Bhaskar Choudhuri, director marketing , Lenovo India, said, “Lenovo’s philosophy of bringing accessible products with innovative technology and ground-breaking features gets further magnified with the next generation of Yoga laptops. These ultra-thin and light convertibles are packed with top of the line features … making it an ideal choice for the youth.”

Rajiv Rao, NCD, Ogilvy & Mather, said, “Geeks represent the new cool. Their technology is their style. The usual and mundane doesn’t appeal to them. They need something new, something flaunt worthy… they need to ‘carry their cool’. The Lenovo Yoga laptops offer them just that!”
