Hero Splendor pitches itself as friend who goes the distance

Watch the ad film conceptualised by J. Walter Thompson here

Hero Motocorp rolled out a film for its Splendor variant ahead of Diwali.

The film conceptualised by J. Walter Thompson portrays the bike as a reliable companion.

A man riding through villages to a school to surprise his daughter on her birthday opens the film. He then moves to another village through trying conditions to meet his son at his school, and take him for a joy ride. The film is set to an elevating soundtrack Yaarana Meelon ka (The friend that lasts the distance).

Another scene features a lady trying to dry her Mehendi (Henna) with the help of a table fan. A man decorating the house is trying to signal to her to come out. She turns him down signalling she's trying to dry her mehendi. But with the electricity getting cut off, she's unable to continue with her activity. He signals to her that he'll take her on a ride to help. The duo head out. A voice over introduces the new Splendor.
