24 hours with...Prateek Sethi
Name: Prateek Sethi
Job: Creative director / communication designer / producer at Trip Creative
Professional and personal mantra: Everything is possible!

6:45am: Wake up. Quick look outside the window to check the tides and the weather.
Glance the phone for updates on work, emails and messages from global clients.

7:00am—7:45am : 9Gag. Reddit. Time to get ready.

7:45am—8:15am : Read the news. Or go for a quick swim with the kid.

8:00am—9:00am: Breakfast and spend time with the family.

9:00am—9:30am: Get to the office and quickly lock the day’s roster, tying up the loose threads. Admin work. If it's a shoot day, then head to location and continue the day as per the shoot schedule.

9:30am—10:30 am: The first set of calls and daily project meets.

10:30am—11:00am: Daily crew updates, milestone checks and upcoming projections.
Spend time with the crew to improve the positives further and address the pain points methodically.

11:00am—12:30pm: The second set of calls and meetings.

12:30pm—2:00pm: Lunch meetings if any are planned otherwise quickly head home and have lunch with family. Quickly check the markets. Quick look outside the window to check the tides and the weather.

2:00pm—6:00pm: Back to office. Third set of client calls and meetings. If those are not planned, then work on project ideas, idea banks and help out the crew with creative direction or get my hands dirty with the project design requirements. [I love] playing around with technology and toying with new possibilities.

6:00pm: Check and update roster. Spend time with the crew for 30 minutes talking about absolute rubbish…before heading home on light days, on hectic days continue work. On shoot days continue as per shoot schedules.

7:00pm—8:00pm: Quick look outside the window to check the tides, the big city lights and the evening sky from home. Last set of calls for the day, especially the global teams, unless there are deliveries, then on standby till whenever necessary.

8:00pm—8:45pm: Spend time with family, bedtime rituals and put kid to sleep.

8:45pm—10:00pm: Dinner and catch up with my better half. Admire the big city lights.

10:00pm onwards: Wind down, either watch OTT films/shows or get onto 9gag, Reddit.
Study. Read a book till I can keep my eyes open. La la Land.
