Adidas' Tushar Goculdas elevated as brand director for emerging markets

Tushar Goculdas, brand director of Adidas India, has been elevated to the position of brand director - emerging markets. He will be based in Dubai and will take up the role starting 1 March 2015. Goculdas replaces Dave Thomas, who was recently announced as the new managing director for Adidas Group India.

Goculdas will report to Osman Ayaz, managing director, emerging markets, Adidas Group. 'Emerging Markets' for the company comprises the Middle East, Africa, part of Eastern Europe and the Indian subcontinent.

Goculdas had joined Adidas India in October 2008. He has also worked with Boston Consulting Group, Colgate-Palmolive and Whirlpool.

His replacement is yet to be announced.
