Allergan appoints Carat to handle its media duties

Allergan, a multi-specialty healthcare company consisting of brands like Botox and Juvederm, has appointed Carat Media Services as its media AOR in India. The business will be handled out of the agency’s Bengaluru office.

Currently Allergan's communication is targeted at women, SEC A, middle aged 35 years and above, through a combination of dailies, magazines and digital strategy.

On the appointment, Raghu Kumar, managing director, Allergan India, said, “Given the category at its infancy currently and the huge growth potential in future, we wanted a strong and dedicated media agency who can partner us in our growth plans with respect to the consumer and media understanding, and we found Carat as a perfect fit.”
