Zee Entertainment Enterprises has appointed Amrit Thomas as its chief data officer.
As per the new role, he will help in building the central data and analytics function, democratising information and improving the company’s capability to anticipate, understand and meet the needs of its consumers and customers.
In his previous stint, he was CEO, strategic advisor, and investor for a retail tech start-up. Prior to this he was chief marketing officer for Diageo across Europe.
Thomas will report to Nitin Mittal, president – technology and data, Zee.
With over 40 years of experience, he has also worked with companies like Hindustan Unilever and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
