Animal Planet revamps logo

Animal Planet has revamped its look with a new logo to mark its 10th anniversary in India. The new logo for the channel is designed by London-based Dunning Eley Jones.The channel will have on-air graphics and a variety of new programming including nature films, docu-soaps and docu-dramas. Some of the new shows include Equator, Lemur Street, Meerkat Manor, Animal Battlegrounds and Groomer Has It.

Animal Planet has revamped its look with a new logo to mark its 10th anniversary in India. The new logo for the channel is designed by London-based Dunning Eley Jones.

The channel will have on-air graphics and a variety of new programming including nature films, docu-soaps and docu-dramas. Some of the new shows include Equator, Lemur Street, Meerkat Manor, Animal Battlegrounds and Groomer Has It.

"We are transforming the look, feel and storytelling of Animal Planet in order to deepen our relationship with audiences, affiliates and advertisers alike," said Rahul Johri, SVP and general manager - India, Discovery Networks Asia Pacific.

 "The new Animal Planet is full of exciting, instinctual stories that will bring out the raw, visceral emotion in the natural world and lead viewers to see animals as characters, not merely creatures. Animal Planet is a place where animals rule and viewers are captive," he added.
