BPN to handle media duties of Heinz India

Heinz India has awarded its media duties to IPG Mediabrands' BPN, following a multi-agency pitch. Havas Media and Starcom MediaVest are the incumbents. The briefs were sent out in second week of September 2013.

Confirming the development, Suresh Balakrishnan, CEO, BPN India, told Campaign India that the account size is in the range of Rs 125 crore.

On the roadmap for the brand, he said, “Heinz is one of the most respected MNCs. Its three most respected brands are Complan, Glucon D and Nycil in that order, besides other products. We will extensively focus on these three brands. Complan, as one knows, is present in a very competitive category. Glucon D and Nycil are market leaders in their respective segments. We will work on protecting their market share.”

BPN’s Mumbai office will handle the account.
