Rahat Kapur has been named managing editor, and Nikita Mishra has been appointed as editor of Campaign Asia-Pacific—the region's leading source for brand experience, marketing communications, and media and technology news.

Kapur, who joined as editor in June 2023, remains based in Singapore and will focus on steering the publication's editorial vision and enhancing content products. She will also oversee regional editorial across Asia, collaborating closely with in-market editorial teams. She continues to report to Robert Sawatzky, editorial director of Haymarket Asia.

Kapur has over a decade of experience across journalism, public relations, and strategic consulting, including roles at Esquire Singapore, Accenture and EY.

Mishra, who joined in May 2022 as associate editor and advanced to deputy editor in 2023, is based in Hong Kong, where she will oversee daily news operations. Reporting to Kapur, she will spearhead the publication's news coverage, collaborating closely with the regional editorial team to deliver timely and in-depth reporting on significant industry developments across the region.

A seasoned journalist with over a decade of experience, Mishra has held reporting and editing roles at CNN-IBN (the Indian affiliate of CNN), The Quint (a digital news platform in India), and Gafencu, a luxury lifestyle magazine in Hong Kong.

“We’re thrilled to be able to have such highly-qualified senior editors leading Campaign’s coverage across Asia,” said Robert Sawatzky, editorial director at Haymarket Media Asia. “Both Rahat and Nikita are passionate about the industry, its issues, challenges and opportunities. They also care deeply about having the strongest editorial standards for our work. Campaign’s Asia audience is in great hands.”
