Agency wins Hindi news channel’s mandate in multi-agency pitch

Carat to handle media duties of News Nation

 

News Nation, a Hindi news channel, has appointed Carat Media Services as its media agency. The account was won in a multi-agency pitch.

McCann Erickson handles the creative duties. A campaign is expected to air soon, informed a Carat statement.

On the development, Shailesh Kumar, CEO, News Nation, said, “News Nation will never be known for sensationalism or masala news like many others of our ilk today. Instead, our sights are focused on producing sensible news for the intelligent viewer of this country and beyond. To this end, News Nation has already made sizeable investments on the technology and talent front”.

Vidhu Sagar, executive VP, Carat Media, said, “We believe in the proposition being put forth by News Nation whole heartedly. It’s aresponsible news channel for the sensible viewer and our media approach is also similarly aligned to connect the brand message with its chosen prospect most effectively. We shall endeavour to do this with the help of all pertinent media platforms - including television, print,digital, OOH as well as activation.”
