Dileep Ashoka to head McCann South

Rejoins after five years from Goodhands Eldercare, which he co-founded

Dileep Ashoka to head McCann South
Dileep Ashoka has joined McCann to head its South India operations. This is Ashoka's second stint at the agency, which he left in 2010. 
 
After leaving McCann, he was a visiting faculty at Rishi Valley School, before co-founding Goodhands Eldercare, an elderly-care company. 
 
Prasoon Joshi, chairman, Apac and CEO, McCann Worldgroup India, said, "I am delighted to have Dileep back in the McCann family. He is an organisation builder and I am sure  he will take our South operations to a newer heights.” 
 
Partha Sinha, vice chairman and MD, added, "It's great to have Dileep back in the system. South is a strategically important for us and having someone as reputed as Dileep coming back here is really significant. I am looking forward to this office doing great things under his leadership.”
 
Ashoka said, "It is a matter of great pride and joy for me to return to McCann after a few years away from the industry. The sentiment is old but the task, team and challenges are new. This is a heady mix and I am looking forward to my new stint."
