Epsilon, a global provider of data, technology, and services, has appointed Pratik Nath as the managing director for its India operations. Nath, who brings over 25 years of experience in the technology sector, will oversee the company’s global capabilities centre (GCC) in India, driving the optimisation and performance of Epsilon’s solutions for its global client base.

Nath’s appointment marks a strategic move by Epsilon to strengthen its engineering and innovation capabilities as it looks to expand its footprint in the competitive marketing and advertising technology space. The company is seeking to enhance its technical expertise to better serve clients, particularly as it looks to harness India’s growing role in global tech development.

“We are excited to have Pratik on board. His deep engineering background and proven experience in cultivating a culture of innovation are exactly what Epsilon India needs to take its operations to the next level,” said Myron Sojka, chief technology officer (CTO) at Epsilon. “Under his leadership, we are poised to enter the next phase of growth for our India GCC.”

Nath arrives at Epsilon from Oracle Cerner, where he served as vice president of India IP Development. There, he led a team of over 2,000 members within the Product/Platform Development and Management division.

He also played a pivotal role in establishing Cerner India’s engineering footprint and expanding its IP Development Centre, fostering innovation and team growth. His work in the tech space has earned him six engineering patents.

“My experience aligns well with Epsilon’s commitment to driving engineering innovation,” said Nath. “Epsilon is an industry leader in marketing and advertising technology. Its ability to connect data, insights, and identity across the entire customer journey is unparalleled. I’m excited to help drive further innovation from India and support Epsilon in its mission to disrupt the industry.”

A graduate of Surat’s National Institute of Technology, Nath holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree. He also holds a Diploma in Advanced Computing from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Bangalore.

Founded in 1969, Epsilon helps brands synchronise consumer engagement across multiple channels—paid, owned, and earned. It offers a range of capabilities through its PeopleCloud platform, including data solutions, identity resolution, customer data platforms, clean rooms, digital and retail media, site personalisation, email marketing, direct mail, loyalty programs, and analytics. These tools are powered by artificial intelligence, privacy-centric identity resolution, and data-enriched marketing and media solutions.

In 2019, Epsilon was acquired by Publicis Groupe in a $4.4 billion deal, aimed at strengthening the latter’s digital marketing services and expanding its first-party data capabilities. Publicis Groupe's net revenue for Q3 2024 reached €3.423 billion, a 5.6% increase from €3.241 billion in the same quarter of 2023. Chairman and CEO Arthur Sadoun commented on the company’s performance, stating that Publicis had successfully gained market share, driven largely by a significant rise in demand for personalised marketing at scale.

Epsilon has enterprise and retail media solutions. Its PeopleCloud platform integrates AI-driven identity resolution with advanced data analytics, enabling brands to harmonise customer engagement across all touchpoints.

Nath’s leadership will be central to Epsilon’s efforts in scaling up these capabilities, particularly in India, a region that has become increasingly important in global technology development. His experience in driving technical growth and team innovation aligns with Epsilon’s goal of fostering more robust technical solutions and providing greater value to clients across industries.
