Campaign India is back with the next edition of its awards to honour excellence in digital advertising and marketing.
In its fourth edition, the awards will invite entries across 16 categories. Four new categories and four sub-categories have been introduced.
The new categories are: ‘Community Website / Blog’, ‘Online Video’, ‘Digital Craft’ and ‘Long-term Strategy’. Online PR, a category introduced last year, has been dropped.
On the changes in categories, Suresh Ramakrishnan, publisher, Haymarket Media (India), said, “The digital medium is constantly evolving. We have been revisiting categories each year and modifying them as needed. This year is no different. I am sure the introduction of four new categories and sub-categories will definitely help entrants to enter their cases in more relevant categories.”
Sub-categories introduced under ‘Website’ include ‘Corporate / Brand’ and ‘Campaigns’, while ‘Mobile’ category will now be split across ‘WAP sites’, ‘Display’ and ‘SMS/IVR’. ‘Apps’ category has been further divided as ‘Mobile Apps’ and ‘Online Apps’. ‘Digital Craft’, a category being introduced this year, is classified into ‘Writing’ and ‘Design and Navigation’.
Further details on categories and entry submission details are to be announced shortly.
