Gautam Thakar steps down as CEO of Star Sports

Had joined the network in January 2018

Gautam Thakar, CEO, Star Sports, has stepped down from his position according to several media reports. He had joined the network in January 2018 from the US based Revolution LLC.  Replacing him as CEO at Star Sports is Sanjog Gupta, executive vice president, Star Sports.
 
Gupta had joined the Star TV network in 2010. 
 
Thakar's exit follows the announcement of Uday Shankar, president, The Walt Disney Company Apac and chairman of Star and Disney India, resigning from the network.
