Former Star Sports CEO Gautam Thakar joins OLX Autos as CEO

Had stepped down as CEO at Star Sports in October 2020

OLX Group has announced the appointment of Gautam Thakar as global CEO of OLX Autos. The move is effective 15 March. 
 
Thakar will lead OLX globally Asia, Africa, Latam, and the United States. OLX Autos runs online digital trading platforms in addition to inspection centres across the Americas, Asia and Africa.

Thakar was formerly CEO of Star Sports in India. Prior to that, he was in the United States as former global CEO of Shopping.com and LivingSocial (acquired by Groupon).
