Havas Media appoints Abhishek Jain to head buying for West

Havas Media India has announced the appointment of Abhishek Jain as senior vice president - investments. In his role, Jain will head buying for the West region. Prior to joining the agency, he was with Lintas Media Group (now Initiative) managing buying for Maruti and Sony. This is his second stint with Havas.

On the appointment, Anita Nayyar, CEO, Havas Media Group India and South Asia, said, “We already have an established presence in the West with cross-industry clients and are looking to further expand our footprint. Abhishek’s talent will bring additional, innovative and value offerings to our clients and the region.”

“Abhishek joins us with a rich experience of over 13-plus years which spans across media planning and buying, having worked on several key businesses and categories. He has a strong understanding of his mandate and we are glad to have him in the Havas family,” added Mohit Joshi, managing director, Havas Media India.

“It gives me great pleasure to come back home to Havas Media after two and half years. Anita Nayyar and Mohit Joshi have always been an inspiration, a great team of business mind and strategy.
