Infectious elevates Imran Khan as head of art

Infectious has announced the elevation of Imran Khan as head of art. Khan was the first hire the agency made when it launched back in 2013.
 
He started his career with Seagull Advertising before being noticed by Ramanuj Shastry (founder of Infectious) at Portfolio Night. Shastry, who was CCO, Saatchi & Saatchi at that time, hired Khan at the agency.
 
Khan said, “Working with Infectious has been one of the best learning experiences of life. From a fresher to now head of art, the place has really groomed me. The nurturing atmosphere that Nisha and Ramanuj have created, is a big motivator to better oneself and I hope I continue to grow along with the agency. Looking forward to the journey ahead.”
 
Shastry said, “Hiring is the most high-risk job in a ‘talent business’ like advertising. But in case of Imran we lucked out. In the decade that I have known him closely he has only grown in my eyes – as a craftsman and, more importantly, as a human being. I expect great things from him. All the best, Imran!”
