Jimmy Mogal joins Rediffusion/Edelman to head Tata business
Edelman India has appointed Jimmy Mogal as national director of Rediffusion/Edelman on the Tata business.

Mogal replaces Roger Darashah who has led the team for three years and will be moving to an international assignment for Edelman in South America at the end of the year.

Mogal will report to Rakesh Thukral, managing director, Edelman India.

Thukral said, “As we welcome Jimmy to the team, we want to thank Roger for his tremendous contribution and leadership on the Tata business. Roger has played a key role in building and growing the relationship not just with the Tata teams but also our partners at Rediffusion. He has been an inspiring leader; driving creative programming for various campaigns, and guiding the teams towards success. We wish him success in his new role in South America. Jimmy will play an integral role in continuing to build on the operational efficiencies, organisational excellence and creative programming that we have been delivering for the Tata business in the last three years. We are looking forward to his years of experience as a communications specialist working with large Indian, as well as multi-national businesses, to continue to strengthen our relationship with the Tata teams.”

Diwan Arun Nanda, chairman and managing director, Rediffusion Y&R, said, "Roger will be missed, but I wish him all the best in his new assignment. I believe Jimmy, with his vast and varied experience, will be an asset to the Rediffusion team servicing the Tata mandate."

Prior to this, Mogal was with HCC, where he led corporate communications. He has also worked with Reliance Infocomm, Enron Asia Pacific, The Coca-Cola Company and Ogilvy PR.
