McCann bags Incredible India's creative duties

Account moves post multi-agency pitch

The Indian government's ministry of tourism has assigned the creative duties of Incredible India to McCann Erickson following a multi-agency pitch. Ogilvy & Mather handled the business prior.
 
Prasoon Joshi, chairman, Asia Pacific and CEO, CCO McCann India, said, “At McCann we take pride in our deep cultural understanding of the country and am really looking forward to this opportunity to build on India’s diversity and share the incredible canvas with the world. The (tourism) ministry has many innovative ideas for the coming years and we are excited to partner the ministry in creating communication for the same.”
 
McCann had executed a set of four commercials on the brand's Atithi Devo Bhava platform prior to this announcement.
