Monica Tata moves on from Turner

Monica Tata, general manager – entertainment networks, South Asia, Turner International India, has put in her papers. She will, however, continue in her current capacity till end of this year.

Confirming the development to Campaign India, she said, “It’s been nine years since I joined Turner Group and it was time to move on. I enjoyed my stint and I’m glad that I was able to grow the company to a larger scale from where it was placed at the time of my joining.”

She further added, “I have not yet decided on my next assignment. For me this is the time to take stock of the various options. With the new year coming, I will look to take up a bigger role, which will be much more challenging and equally exciting.”

A Turner official has informed that the company is not looking at bringing a replacement for Tata in the near future.

Tata joined Turner in 2004 after a 12-year stint at Star India.
