MPG appoints Manoj Malkani as VP

MPG has hired former Dentsu Media's VP, Manoj Malkani (pictured), to take over the duties of its Mumbai office.Malkani, who assumes the position of a vice president, has been given the mandate to drive new business acquisitions and look over the current business. He will report to Jyoti Bansal, head, West & South, MPG. “Manoj’s appointment showcases our intentions to expand our Mumbai operations considerably,” said Anita Nayyar, CEO, MPG.

MPG has hired former Dentsu Media's VP, Manoj Malkani (pictured), to take over the duties of its Mumbai office.

Malkani, who assumes the position of a vice president, has been given the mandate to drive new business acquisitions and look over the current business. He will report to Jyoti Bansal, head, West & South, MPG. “Manoj’s appointment showcases our intentions to expand our Mumbai operations considerably,” said Anita Nayyar, CEO, MPG.

Malkani, as vice president – media at Dentsu Marcom handled clients such as Raymonds (Park Avenue, Parx); Thomas Cook; Olympus; India Bulls and special projects like IFL (Indianfantasyleague.com). He has close to 14 years of experience across different agencies including: Mindshare where he was the senior investment director on Aditya Birla Group AOR; Maxus – heading the Hero Honda business as senior business director; Carat – heading the Carat-Percept alliance and Starcom where he was the group head buying.

“MPG gave a good opportunity to work under the strong leadership of Anita Nayyar and in the rich culture of MPG, supported by strategic support tools used to improve the planning processes,” said Malkani.
