A weekend filled with great sporting action awaits sports fans this weekend. 

The action for the weekend starts on Friday, when England will look to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the five match ODI series with a victory at The Oval. The Pakistanis will be looking to salvage something out of a disastrous and controversial summer tour to England, so expect some fireworks in this one. Catch the third ODI Live on ESPN from 17:30 hours onwards today. 

Cricket continues with the Airtel Champions League. Fresh from their victory over the Mumbai Indians, the South Australia Redbacks will be taking on the Royal Challengers Bangalore. Catch all the action from this game Live on Star Cricket from 21:00 hours onwards today. 

On Saturday, the Central Stags take on the Warriors in the early game which begins at 17:00 hours, with the Stags needing a victory to stay alive in the tournament. In the second game of the evening, fresh from their mauling of Wayamba, the Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings will play the Victoria Bush Rangers at 21:00 hours. 

On Sunday, the Highveld Lions take on Guyana in the early game, while the big one between the Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians takes place in the all night match which begins at 21:00 hours. 

Further, there’s a full round of Premier League fixtures to look forward to. In the big games to take place over the weekend, Arsenal, fresh from their 6-0 victory in the Champions League, will travel to the Stadium of Light to face Sunderland on Saturday. The game kicks off at 21:55 hours Live on ESPN. 

On Sunday,  two of the most successful club teams in England will clash at Old Trafford. Liverpool travel to M16 to play Manchester United. The game kicks off at 17:55 hours and will be Live on ESPN. 

This big game is followed by Chelsea’s game against newly promoted Blackpool.  Will Chelsea be able to keep their 100% start to the season intact? The game is Live on ESPN at 20:25 hours.
