Must watch on TV: Barclays Premier League and Test cricket

Football dominates  your to-do list weekend list, with nine Barclays Premier League games scheduled to be held over Saturday and Sunday.

Arsenal travel to Norwich to kick-off proceedings for the weekend. Robin van Persie has been in hot form over the last few weeks, scoring goals for fun against the likes of Chelsea, West Brom and Stoke City. Norwich have also been involved in two close goal scoring fixtures over the past two weeks. Watch the game at 18:10 hours on Saturday.

This game is followed by the game between the two unbeaten teams, Manchester City and Newcastle United. Kick off for this one is Live at 20:30 hours.

In the late kick-off at 23:00 hours, champions Manchester United travel to Swansea City.

On Sunday, in the big game of the weekend, Chelsea take on Liverpool. Liverpool did the double over Chelsea last season, but the goal scorers from both those games (Fernando Torres and Raul Meireles) now play for Chelsea. Torres has shown glimpses of his old self, but has been poor overall this season, while Meireles hasn’t got the game time he expected at Chelsea. Liverpool’s Luis Suarez, who has been charged of racism, will be looking to be in the news for all the right reasons, by putting on a solid performance against Chelsea. This game kicks-off at 21:30 hours on Sunday.

All the above mentioned games, will be telecast Live on ESPN.

In cricket, there’s the ongoing second Test match between South Africa and Australia to look forward to. Catch the third and fourth day on Saturday and Sunday respectively, Live on Ten Cricket from 14:00 hours onwards.
