Oindrila Roy and Rahul Marwaha join Essence

Roy joins as head of strategy while Marwaha is VP, digital media activation

Oindrila Roy and Rahul Marwaha join Essence
Essence has announced the appointment of Oindrila Roy as head of strategy and Rahul Marwaha as vice president, digital media activation in India. 
 
The duo will 'work closely' with Anand Chakravarthy, managing director, India at Essence. 
 
Roy's last stint was with Leo Burnett where she was SVP and business head. Marwaha was EVP at Interactive Avenues. 
 
Roy said, “I am excited to be a part of Essence and contribute to its fresh approach to advertising. I look forward to weaving in magic with Essence’s data and measurement-driven expertise to solve brands’ business challenges effectively."
 
Marwaha said, "Essence has the right combination of technology, talent and vision. Essence is truly an agency primed for the future and has all the elements for success with transformation-driven clients, and I am thrilled to be a part of it.”
 
Chakravarthy added, “Oindrila and Rahul’s addition to our leadership team in India is an important step towards strengthening Essence in the market.
