OOH player Laqshya looks to ‘Connect’ with experiential arm

OOH player Laqshya Media Group has announced the creation of an experiential marketing division, Laqshya Connect.

The company currently has two units - Laqshya Media Solutions and Laqshya Assets. Laqshya Connect will mark its presence in activation. By end-2013, the intent is to create an advertising team that will create ads for print, TV, radio and OOH.

Laqshya Connect is currently headed by Pankaj Khanna (SVP) and Hakim HS (national head).

Alok Jalan, MD, Laqshya Media Group, said, “At Laqshya, we always put our clients first. We explore and identify the ways to consolidate the media solutions with in-house expertise and which can be offered at competitive rates. Since experiential marketing often works best in tandem with OOH advertising campaigns, we chose to launch this Laqshya Connect division to enhance our offerings. We are proud to have a team with expertise in events, entertainment, advertising and activation.”

Laqshya Media Group has 180 employees in 22 Indian cities. It claims a presence in 1,600 Indian cities and towns, and presence in Middle East and Australia through associates.
