Radio City promotes Ashit Kukian as president, sales

Radio City 91.1 FM has promoted Ashit Kukian (pictured) to the post of president, sales. In addition, the radio channel has announced the elevation of senior manager Praviin Belman to general manager. He will now be in charge of Mumbai and Kolkata. Belman will be assisted by Jitendra Boricha of retail business, who is now deputy general manager.

Radio City 91.1 FM has promoted Ashit Kukian (pictured) to the post of president, sales. In addition, the radio channel has announced the elevation of senior manager Praviin Belman to general manager. He will now be in charge of Mumbai and Kolkata. Belman will be assisted by Jitendra Boricha of retail business, who is now deputy general manager.

The radio station's corporate business will be overseen by Ahmed Nazari. Ravi Thakur, who was earlier senior manager - Pune, has now been promoted as general manager. Thakur will be responsible for Pune, Nagpur and the rest of Maharashtra. Deepali Chavan has been promoted to senior manager, responsible for Pune –Corporate and Nagpur – Business. She will report to Thakur.

Radio City has also elevated Vinita Bhatia, who was general manager and market head, Delhi. She is now associate vice president and will be assisted by Firoz Ansari, who has been promoted to deputy general manager – corporate business. Anshul Munjal has been promoted to deputy general manager and will be incharge of the retail business.

Deepa Dave, general manager and head of Gujarat, Lucknow and Jaipur is now associate vice president.

Tasneem Contractor has been promoted to the post of general manager. Prior to this role, she was creative head of advertising sales.

The team is further beefed up with the appointment of Satyanarayan Murthy as South Head. Murthy will be based out of Bangalore and will be responsible for Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Vizag and Coimbatore.

Lastly, Sitaram Prabhu has been promoted to deputy general manager and will be heading Bangalore, Chennai and Coimbatore markets. He will report to Murthy.

Speaking about the restructuring, Kukian said, "At Radio City we believe in grooming in-house talent and training them in the Radio City way and culture. We have very talented people across the length and breadth of the organization and it gives me great pleasure to see them blossom and grow’.
